Centering adjustment using the
Centering Magnets.
1 ) Display a Cross- Hair signal from
an external generator.
2 ) Contrast: Maximum Brightness:
Center
3 ) The focus adjustment should have
been completed.
4 ) The electrical focus should have
been adjusted.
5 ) Yoke Tilt should have been
completed.
6 ) The convergence D C U R A M
should have been C L E A R E D .
(With Power OFF, press and
hold the Service Switch down,
then press power. When picture
appears, press the Service
Switch again to bring up the
DCU Crosshatch.)
Adjustment procedure:
1 ) Select the Green adjustment
mode, "Recall" on the remote
control.
Convergence adjustment
procedure".
2 ) Apply the Digital convergence
overlay.
3 ) Press the "Menu" button on the
remote to turn off Red and Blue.
4 ) Adjust the centering magnets for
G on the back side of the
Deflection Yoke and align the
center of the G Crosshatch to the
center of the overlay.
5 ) Select Red adjustment Mode,
"0" on the remote control.
6 ) Adjust the R centering magnet
and align the center of R with the
left centering offset mark on the
overlay.
7 ) Select Blue adjustment Mode,
"Input" on the remote control.
8 ) Adjust the B centering magnet
and align the center of B with the
Right centering offset mark on
the overlay.

The actual measurements for Red
"See Digital
and Blue offset are as follows:
Red is aligned 1 0 mm left of center
Blue is aligned 3 0 mm right of
center.
Green
Blue offset = 30mm
