If your machine already has this check valve installed, you do
not need to install the valve in this kit.
Machines with serial numbers 316000610 and up have the
check valve.
If your machine has a serial number of 316000609 or below,
check your machine to see if it already has this check valve.
The check valve has an arrow stamped into 1 side of the
fitting. If you see the arrow, your machine has the check valve
installed
(Figure
1).
Important: The check valve must be installed.
Important: The check valve and the fitting without the
check look the same, except for the arrow.
Note: If necessary, use an inspection mirror to see the other
sides of the fitting.
