Desired tracks or chapters can be programmed and played back in a desired order. Up to 18 tracks (chapters) can be programmed
but the attempt to program a 19th track (chapter) is rejected.
Software with which this function is avail¬
able:

VCD
With a VCD. there is no relationship between the divisions in recording
and the track numbers, except of certain software such as karaoke
discs. As a result, the programming operation may not be usable
depending on software
Programming tracks in the desired order
Enter stop mode.
Select the program mode.
• To perform program playback of a P.B.C.-compatible VCD. first press
the ► key then the ■ key to cancel the P.B.C. function.
Each press of the P.MODE key switches the play mode as
follows.

1 Track mode
2 Program mode
r Random play mode
PROG./RANDOM goes off
PROG, lights up
RANDOM lights up
Choose a track, then press ENTER.

Tracks (chapters) can also be selected with numeric keys.
(Set the remote control mode switch to "CD".)
To select track (chapter) No. 8
: [8] ENTER
To select track (chapter) No. 18
: H ® ENTER
• Programming of a DVD without track (chapter) numbers is not possible.
• Select "Clear last" with the joystick and press the ENTER key to clear
the currently last track (chapter) in the program one by one.
•The entire program can also be cleared by selecting "Clear all" with the
joystick then pressing the ENTER key
• If you made a mistake, press the C (clear) key and select the correct
track (chapter).
• Tracks (chapters) will be played in the order you programmed them (i.e.
in order of program numbers).
• Pressing the pm or
key during program playback skips to the
previous or next track (chapter) in the program.
