CaptureMat FUNCTION

A printed image (paper or sticker), as stamped page
or an original hand-drawn illustration can be
captured and its outline can be cut out or drawn.
This is useful for capturing images for paper crafts,
then cutting them out.
Note
• Connect the machine and computer with
Wireless Mode to use this function.
Tutorial 2 - Cutting Photographed
Material
■ Preparation
a
Prepare the material and a camera.
When using "CaptureMat" function, prepare the
following types of material.
• Patterns that are clearly drawn, with no gradation,
fading or blurriness
• Not using an extremely intricate design

Press
to turn on the machine.
• For details, see "Turning On/Off the Machine" on
page 6.

Install the cutting blade holder into the carriage
of the machine.
• For details, see "Installing and Uninstalling the
Holder" on page 34.

■ Photographing Material and
Importing the Data
 Registering the Calibration Data of the
Camera Used for Photographing
Data for adjusting the distortion, etc., of the
camera used for photographing must first be
registered with DesignNCut Manager.

Click [CaptureMat].
A window appears, allowing you to register
photos and the camera to be used.
Memo
• With the mobile device version: Tap
[CaptureMat], and then go to step
photograph the calibration sheet.

Select [New Camera...] from the [Camera]
drop-down list.
The window for registering calibration data
appears.
