Setting up

WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!
Never place the appliance underneath wall cupboards or next to curtains,
cupboard walls or other flammable objects.
Always place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface.
1) Place the appliance on a clean and level heat-resistant surface. Ensure that
you do not place the appliance directly next to a wall or a cupboard. Each
person should have unimpaired access to the pans 6.
2) Place the griddle 1 on the appliance with the grooved grilling surface facing
upwards.
3) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

Operation

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
The appliance and the accessories become very hot during operation.
Only touch the controls and the handles during operation.

Raclette

ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use metal utensils such as knives, forks, etc. when you remove food
from the griddle 1 or from the pans 6 as they could damage the non-stick
coating. If the non-stick coating is damaged, stop using the

Preheat the appliance for about 10 minutes.

not overfilled; otherwise, the food could get too close to the heating elements
or even touch them!
5) Place the pans 6 onto the upper shelf of the appliance. The slight indenta-
tions 5 help them sit more firmly.
