Information

6.1.1

General

SINAMICS S series components are designed for mounting in an enclosure, for example
because of the required degree of shock protection. Cabinets are the type of enclosure
normally used but other mounting compartments affording protection against shock and
harmful environmental influences may be used. The applicable standard is EN 60439-1.

If the SINAMICS S drive line-up is used for the electrical equipment of machines, the
