8.3 USB Driver Installation
In order to use the 78K0R - Cool it! board for On-Chip debugging the USB driver needs to be
installed on the host machine. Install the driver according to the following procedure:
Installation on Windows 2000 ................ Page 28
Installation on Windows XP ................... Page 33
Note: The USB driver is part of the IAR Embedded Workbench software package. Therefore
please install the IAR Embedded Workbench first.
8.3.1 Installation on Windows 2000

When the 78K0R - Cool it! board is connected with the host machine, the board is
recognized by <Plug and Play>, and the wizard for finding new hardware is started. Click
Next>.
