4.7 Check Flows and Pressures at Operating Temperature

8. Observe when the overtemp shutdown light comes on. This is indicated when the fourth
LED lights (red).
9. Release the overtemp test button and verify the overtemp light stays on.
10.Verify through the front panel screen that the oven temperature starts decreasing (this may
take a few minutes). Also, that an overtemp fault alarm is generated.
11.If dual oven applications, repeat steps above for second heater channel.
12.Reset analyzer and turn up oven air regulator to the appropriate/normal setting(s) and verify
that the oven(s) will reach set point and maintain set point without any faults or failures.
For Airless Heaters (including detectors, methanators, SLIVs etc.) perform the following
procedure.
1. Through the front panel screen, observe the oven temperature and set point temperature.
2. Momentarily disconnect/unplug and reconnect the RTD probe connector in order to
simulate an error condition that will force overtemp shutdown. Use safeguard measures that
static is not introduced when disconnecting and reconnecting this connector. The use of
antistatic wrist straps is recommended.

decreasing (this may take a few minutes). Also, that an overtemp fault alarm is generated.
5. If dual oven applications, repeat steps above for second heater channel.
6. Reset analyzer and verify that the oven(s) will reach set point and maintain set point without
any faults or failures.
4.7 Check Flows and Pressures at Operating Temperature
1. Close the oven door and set the oven pressure regulators between 84 to 105 kPa (12 to 15
psig.)
2. To monitor the oven heater on the front panel display, tap the Home icon in the top left
corner. Then tap
display the heaters.
