To search for a name by initial
Example: "LISA"
Using the handset
1. Press { { { { > > > > } } } } .
L Confirm that there are no documents in
the document entrance.
2. Press { { { { e} } } } or { { { { v} } } } to enter the directory.
3. Press { { { { 5} } } } repeatedly until any name with the
initial "L" is displayed (see the character
table, page 41).
L To search for symbols (not letters or
numbers), press { { { { * * * * } } } } .
4. Press { { { { e} } } } until "LISA" is displayed.
L To stop the search, press { { { { OFF} } } } .
L To make a call, press { { { { TALK} } } } or { { { { SP-
PHONE} } } } .
Using the base unit
1. Press { { { { > > > > } } } } .
L Confirm that there are no documents in
the document entrance.
2. Press { { { { + + + + } } } } or { { { { - - - - } } } } to enter the directory.
3. Press { { { { 5} } } } repeatedly until any name with the
initial "L" is displayed (see the character
table, page 33).
L To search for symbols (not letters or
numbers), press { { { { * * * * } } } } .
4. Press { { { { + + + + } } } } until "LISA" is displayed.
L To stop the search, press { { { { STOP} } } } .
L To make a call, press { { { { DIGITAL SP-
