9. Operation
9.1 Operation at TIG welding
(a)Set the welding process switch on
the front panel at "TIG welding".
(b)Turn on the switch of the switch box.
(c)Turn on the power switch on the front
panel.
(d)Check gas flow.
(e)Welding work starts.
(f)Welding work ends.
(g)Turn off the power switch on the front
panel.
(h)Turn off the switch of the switch box.
9.2 Stick welding operation
(a)Set the welding process switch on the
torch select switch at "Air".
(b)Turn on the switch of the switch box.
(c)Turn on the power switch on the front
panel.
(d)Welding work starts.
(e) Welding work ends.
(f)Turn off the power switch on the front
panel.
(g)Turn off the switch of the switch box.
The power lamp (green) turns on.
Cooling fan rotates.
By setting gas check switch at "Check", gas valve opens and argon
gas is supplied.
Set the switch at "Weld" side after checking gas flow.
By pressing torch switch bringing the torch close to base metal, arc
is generated.
Welding current is controlled as shown in the following diagram by
operating the crater control, torch and pulsation switches.
Close the argon gas cylinder after finishing welding work. . Stop the
cooling water if used.
The power lamp (green) turns on.
Cooling fan rotates.
Output voltage is generated between the
output terminals.
Carry out stick welding as per normal
procedure.
Welding current is adjusted by the welding
current adjustor on the front panel.
