Replacing the Guard Mount
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Guard mount
2 Clamp plate
2 Bolt (5/16 x 1-1/4 inches)
2 Locknut (5/16 inch)
Procedure
1. Remove the shield assembly from the grinder
head (Figure 15). Retain the fasteners.

3. Install the new guard mount using 8 bolts and 8
nuts that you removed in step

4. Install both shields to the guard mount using
a clamp plate and the 6 bolts and 6 nuts you
removed from each shield in step
Note:
Do not use the rear hole in the clamp
plates in this step.
