and handle fuel in accordance with ANSI/NFPA
505 and ANSI/NFPA 30 or as required by local
ordinances.
Static electric discharge can ignite gasoline vapors
in an ungrounded fuel container. Remove the
fuel container from the machine and place it on
the ground, away from the machine before filling.
Keep the nozzle in contact with container opening
while filling. When practical, remove equipment
from trailers or truck beds and refuel them on the
ground. If this is not possible, use a portable,
plastic fuel container to refuel equipment on a
truck bed or trailer.
Do not use open flames for checking the electrolyte
level in the battery or the fuel level in the tank.
Do not operate the machine with a leak in the fuel
system.
Before disconnecting any part of the engine
fuel system, ensure that the fuel-shutoff valve (if
equipped) is closed.

Note:
The air pressure needed in the tires is
determined by the payload that you intend to carry.
1.
Check the air pressure in the tires.
Use lower air pressure in the tires for lighter
payloads, for less soil compaction, for a
smoother ride, and to minimize tire marks on
the ground.
Use higher air pressure in the tires for
carrying heavier payloads at higher speeds.
2.
If necessary, adjust the air pressure in the tires
by adding or removing air in the tires.
