Removing and Replacing the Main Board

1.
Remove the battery, SIM, antenna, and rear housing as described in the
.
procedures
The flexible printed cable (FPC or flex) is easily damaged. Exercise extreme care
when handling.
2.
Using the flat end of the disassembly tool, slide both ends of the flex connector
latch away from the connector body to unlock the flex. See Figure 13-1.
3.
Using the plastic tweezers, carefully disconnect the flex from the main board
as shown in Figure 14.
4.
Disconnect the speaker leads from the speaker connector on the main board.
See Figure 13-2.
