Blade application
Do not use a blade wider than the dimension of the tile being removed. If the tiles do
not come up clean or the machine jumps on top of the tiles, install a smaller blade
until proper blade size is found or use a smaller portion of the blade.
The carpet must be scored down (ditching) with a 152mm Self-Scoring blade for
correct removal. Pre-scored carpet (ditched) or pre-cut carpet makes the machine
easier to control and blades stay sharp longer. Normally 254 mm blades are used
on direct glued carpet, secondary backed, unitary, double glued, vinyl foam, ure-
thane foam. Latex foams are easy to remove with a 305 mm blade.
Note:
Use a chisel and move the product in a fan
shape pattern to remove tiles and floors made of
wood.
