Printer placement
Select the printer location carefully so that it will not need to be moved after it is installed. If possible, allow
additional space around the printer for service access.
IMPORTANT:

Do not move the printer for any purpose without service assistance. Additional packing precautions and
installation calibrations are required for significant displacements of the equipment.

Moving the uncrated printer

Read this section if you need to move the printer after uncrating.
The route between the unloading area of the printer and the installation site, including any corridors and
doorways through which the printer must be transported, is important to proper site preparation and should be
planned before the arrival of the printer. This pathway should be clear when the printer arrives.
Refer to the printer dimensions and weight table below, then review the doorway specifications, do a thorough
review of the pathway identifying any equipment or furniture that needs to be removed, check for any narrow
doors, check whether any section of the flooring needs to be protected, and evaluate any threshold gaps
between rooms as well as any ramps over which the printer will be moved.
