MAINTENANCE
CHECK AND TIGHTEN TRACK SHOE BOLTS
(Machine equipped with road liner, steel shoe)
If the machine is used with track shoe bolts (1) loose, they will break, so tighten any loose bolts immediately
Road Liner Mounting Bolt - Check/Tighten
After tightening to a tightening torque of 137 ± 19.6 N·m (14 ± 2
kgf·m, 101.3 ± 14.5 lbft), check that the nut and shoe are in tight
contact with the link mating surface.
Steel Track Shoe Bolts - Check/Tighten
1. First tighten to a tightening torque of 137 ± 19.6 N·m (14 ± 2
kgf·m, 101.3 ± 14.5 lbft) then check that the nut and shoe are
in close contact with the link contact surface.
2. After checking, tighten a further 90° ± 10°.
Order for Tightening
Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the diagram on the right.
After tightening, check that the nut and shoe are in close contact
with the link mating surface.
