• If you loaded paper that is 13 × 19 inches (330 × 483 mm) or larger, install the paper cassette
cover, aligning the arrows as shown. This cover is important to limit dust from accumulating on cut
sheets in the paper cassette and will help reduce print head maintenance and cleanings.

Loading Cut Sheets in the Rear Manual Feeder

Use the rear manual feeder to load one cut sheet at a time from 8 × 10 inches (203 × 254 mm) to A2
(16.5 × 23.4 inches [420 × 594 mm])/17 × 22 inches (432 × 559 mm), 8 to 17 in. (203 to 432 mm) wide,
10 to 24 in. (154 to 610 mm) long, and 0.003 to 0.03 in. (0.08 to 0.8 mm) thick.
1. Make sure the printer is turned on.
2. On the control panel, select
3. Select Cut Sheet and then select How To....
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to load the paper and then select the paper settings.
Note: Remove each sheet as it is printed and ejected without letting the sheets stack up on the
output tray.
