Fast-Forward and Rewind <rFig. 7>
Press the FF/REW button while the tape is stopped.
Press once: Fast-forwards the tape. [A beep tone sounds once to show key operation is ac-
cepted.)
Press twice: Rewinds the tape. (A beep tone sounds twice to show key operation is accepted. )
When the tape reaches the end of whichever side is being played, the motor will stop turning after
several seconds even if the STOP button is not pressed.
Display example
The letter of ""KENWOOD"' goes off sequentially in the direction of the arrows.

To play the tape being played from the beginning of the opposite side: <Fig. a>
Prass the FF/REW button in play mode. The tape will be fast forwarded until the tape end and
then auto-reversed. Normal playback starts from the beginning of the other side of the tape.
To play the tape being played from the beginning of the same side: <Fig. b>
Press the FF/REW button twice quickly in the play mode. The tape will be rewound until the
beginning. Normal playback starts from the beginning of the same side of the tape.
Display example
The letter of '"KENWOOD"' goes off sequentially in the direction of the arrows.
Reverse function
1. Continuous Automatic Reverse
Press the PLAY/DIR switch once while the tape is stopped,
After one side of the tape finishes playing, the tape automatically reverses, and starts playing
the other side, The tape will be played continuously until you stap it.
. One-cycie Automatic Reverse
Press the PLAY/DIR switch twice while the tape is stopped.
After the tape side facing upwards finishes playing, the unit reverses to play the side facing
downwards. After this side has finished, the unit stops.
. Manual Reverse
To switch the playing side of a cassette during playback, press the PLAY/DIR button in play
mode. The other side of the tape will be played immediately, regardless of the tape position.
