For easier docking, close the LCD panel on the NEC Versa. (This is not

required, but is recommended.)
Align the docking guides on the MiniDock with the docking grooves on

the bottom of the NEC Versa. Lower the NEC Versa onto the MiniDock.
Once the notebook is properly seated on the docking guides, the docking
connector and the expansion port are properly aligned.

Verify that the Docking LED is a steady amber color. This indicates that

the MiniDock is ready for docking.
