Controlling the Display of Event Records

Scrolls to the next screen of entries.

Scrolls to the previous screen of entries.

Displays the first screen of entries.
L or l
Displays the last screen of entries.
A or a
Defines a filter to select event types by FRU or error code. For help,
type A then ?. A filter stays in effect until changed.
C or c
Clears all entries from the Unsolicited Event Log.
Caution: The host computer relies on entries to report subsystem
errors; clearing the Log may remove recent entries before they reach
the host.
D or d
Dump the contents of the Unsolicited Event Log to the screen. The
user is asked for starting and ending event numbers. These must be
valid numbers (the end value must be greater than or equal to the
start value), or an error message is displayed. The default starting
and ending values are the first and last entries of the Unsolicited
Event Log, respectively. The requested entries are displayed one line
at a time, in a format that allows a screen capture program to capture
them in a text file. The file can be viewed later with a text editor.
Pressing the Esc key during the dump will halt the display.
G or g
Go to a particular Unsolicited Event Log entry. When typed, the user
is asked for an event number (a full log typically contains more than
1000 events). The line number must be within the range of events in
the log or an error message is displayed. The Unsolicited Event Log is
displayed starting at the specified event number.
