The Boot Menu

During startup, you can change the boot order of these three mass storage
devices: the HP NetServer's diskette drive, its CD-ROM drive, and whatever hard
disk you have configured to be a boot device. You do this by invoking the Boot
Menu during startup.
NOTE
Any boot order changes you make with the Boot Menu apply
only to the current session. When you restart the server again,
it defaults to its normal boot order.
For example: in its default boot order, the server scans the CD-ROM drive for a
bootable disk before trying to boot from a hard drive. With the Boot Menu, you
could tell the server put hard drives first in the boot order, even if the CD-ROM
drive held a bootable disk.
NOTE
When booting from a hard disk, by default the system searches
for the boot device on SCSI controllers 0 and 1, then on PCI
slots 1 through 8.
To change the boot order for SCSI devices, or to add SCSCI
controllers 2 through 6 to the boot order, use the SCSI
Configuration Utility. To reach this utility, reboot the system
and wait for the prompt Press Ctrl-C to start
Configuration Utility. Then press Ctrl-C.
