Tools

CAUTION
Components of this accessory kit are sensitive to static
electricity and can be easily damaged by improper handling.
Read the following information carefully before you handle
the accessory components:
To install this accessory you need the following tools, plus the key for the front
lock if the NetServer is locked:
A portable field service grounding kit (3M
or equivalent) containing a wrist strap, anti-static mat, and cable. Use this
kit to prevent damage to the system from static electricity.
HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM
Two blank, formatted flexible diskettes to run the HP DiagTools
diagnostic utility
You may also need a ¼-inch flat-blade screwdriver or other tools for a
rack-mounted NetServer. Refer to your rack documentation.
Leave the components in the anti-static container until you
are ready to install them.
Use an anti-static wrist strap and a grounding mat. Read
and follow the instructions included with the wrist strap
and mat.
Before you remove a component from its anti-static
container, touch a grounded, unpainted metal surface on
the NetServer to discharge static electricity.
