• JDK required for linkage with Global Link Manager
To link with Global Link Manager, make sure that JDK package 1.4.2 (32-
bit version) or later, JDK package 5.0 (32-bit version) or later, or JDK
package 6.0 (32-bit version) or later is already installed on the host. The
JDK does not need to be installed if linkage with Global Link Manager is
not used. When HDLM is installed in an environment in which the JDK has
not been installed, the KAPL09241-W message is displayed. If linkage
with Global Link Manager is not used, this message requires no action.
Note that the display of the KAPL09241-W message does not affect HDLM
operation.

Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform
When you install HTC_ODM in an HDLM environment where XP_ODM
has already been installed, install HTC_ODM, and then re-install
HDLM.

When you install XP_ODM in an HDLM environment where HTC_ODM
has already been installed, install XP_ODM, and then re-install HDLM.
