Using the Remote Control
you can use the AutoSound
TM,
options to
utomatieally tailor the TVs sound [br
the type q!_rograrn you are watching. The
.fizetorv has set the VOICE, MUSIC, and
THEATRE options. ]'he settings jbr the PER-
SONAL option are the ones you select
through the on-screen SOUND submenu. See
descriptions of the options below, right.

Press the SOUND button on the
remote control. The current
AutoSound
TM
setting will appear on
screen. Press the SOUND button
repeatedly to cycle through the four
options: PERSONAL, VOICE,
MUSIC, or THEATRE.
When you see the option you want
on the screen, press the
STATUS/EXIT button to exit the
menu. The AutoSound
TM
option you
selected is then active.
• AutoSound
TM
works only with the pro-
grams coming lhrough the ANTENNA
IN 75_ jack on the rear of the TV.
AutoSound
TM
will not control lhe sound
levels of the olher jacks on the rear or
side of the TV.
• If you select an AutoSound'rM option
other than PERSONAL, then the TRE-
BLE and BASS settings specific to that
option will also be written to the
SOUND submenu items. At thai point,
the PERSONAL AutoSound
TM
option
settings will not be changed. Only when
you go into the SOUND submenu and
chmlge the TREBLE and BASS settings
will those settings be reflected in lhe
PERSONAL AutoSound
TM
option.

voices and music.
