Outside air
temperature ( C) (see note)
(NOTE):
The term 'outside air temperature' as it is used here is meant to serve as a rough guideline for when the
unit has been installed so as to allow the free flow of air around the unit, and this term is therefore to be
distinguished from the term 'ambient temperature' as used in 3 "Installation". Note that there may be
times when errors occur in temperature readings. Also note that it is particularly important to be sure to
check the ambient temperature when the unit has been installed as described in 3.4 "Special Installation"
to ensure that all installation requirements have been satisfied.
