3.4.2 Hanging on the wall

Carefully read the following before attempting to hang the unit on a wall, and observe the various limitations specified
below. Be sure to mount the unit so that twisting, bending, or any other deformation does not exceed 4 mm.

Operating temperature restrictions
Standard single-unit installation
* When attached using PDK-5005 PDP brackets, the distance A between the unit and the wall must be no
less than 50 mm.

Horizontal/vertical, left/right reverse installation (Note that only Examples 2 and 3 apply in cases
where top and bottom are reversed)
* No matter what the distance between the unit and the wall, the unit must be installed in such a way as
to ensure free air flow (With no obstructions within a distance of 300 mm from the unit).

Requirements when used with PDP-S03-LR speaker system
When installed as a single unit, all requirements are the same as those listed above for horizontal/
vertical, left/right reverse installation. Note, however, that the figures listed above are to be interpreted
as indicating the distance between the speakers and the wall.
(NOTE) Different temperature restrictions apply to the PDK-5006. Refer to 4.7 "Tiltable Plasma Display Wall- Mount
Hardware". In wall-mounting installation, allow adequate space (a clearance of 300 mm or more) above and

below the monitor set, as well as to the right and left.
