Using the Parental Lock

The parental lock can be used to restrict access to any channel using a self-selected security (paren-
tal) code. Entry of the security code is required to view a locked channel.
When selecting this option for the first time you will be prompted to enter a new parental code.
After a security code has been registered the first time, entry of the security code will be required to
subsequently access the Channel Locking Menu or a locked channel.
Entering the parental code for the first time
First, display the Main Menu by pressing the MENU
button and then use the
light the PARENTAL LOCK option. Then press the
SELECT button to display the "Enter New Parental
Code" screen.
