4.11.5.2 Importing a video clip file

1. Launch the Multimedia Center application, click on the Video Studio icon located in the
side Functions panel.
2. In the File selection screen, click on My Videos tab.
• To import an image or a photograph, click on My images tab and follow the same steps
hereafter.
• To import an audio file, click on My Sounds tab and follow the same steps hereafter.
• To import a text file, click on My Titles tab and follow the same steps hereafter.
3. Specify the local path to the video clip (image, photo, audio or text) file that you want to
import and select it. The corresponding item displays in the Preview screen.
4. Once you have selected it, you can either double-click on it or drag and drop it onto the
Composer screen to have it displayed there.
Repeat the same steps for each video clip, text or audio file you wish to insert into the Composer
screen.

4.11.5.3 Editing video clip

To change video clips and/or images order:
1. In the storyboard/timeline view of the Composer screen, select the video (or image) you
wish to move.
2. Drag and drop it to a different location where you want it to appear in your final movie.
To change the duration of a video clip or image:
1. In the Composer screen, click on the
displayed.
2. Select the video clip (or image) to edit.
3. Use the trim points
the selected video clip (or image).
To split a video clip:
1. In the Composer screen, click on the
displayed.
2. Select the video clip you wish to split.
3. Place one of the trim points at the location where you wish to split the video clip.
4. Select the Split option from the Clip menu. The video clip is cut into two separate video
clips.
To combine video clips and/or images:
1. In the Composer screen, click on the
displayed.
2. Make sure the video clips (or images) are displayed in the order in which you want them
to appear in your final movie.
