AUTODIAL

The Autodial feature lets you automatically dial a frequently called
number or program frequently used features with one button. With the
FT24DS, two levels of programming are available for each autodial
button.
To program a single level Autodial button:
Action
1. Press the program mode
button. Dial the security code
(if applicable).
2. Press the autodial (ATD)
button to be programmed.
3. Dial the number you want to
register on the ATD button.
4. Verify the autodial number if
you have a display Digital
Telephone.
5. Press the program mode
button to save the number
and exit the Program mode.
To program a dual level Autodial button:
Action
1. Press the autodial line change
(ATL) button to select the upper
or lower program position.
2. Press the program button.
3. Press the ATD button to be
programmed.
4. Dial the number you want to
register on the ATD button.
Results
The associated lamp
flashes.
The program mode lamp
lights steadily.
The dialed number displays.
The program mode lamp
goes out.
Results
The ATL lamp turns on. A
light above the button displays
to show upper or lower
program position.
The program mode flashes.
The ATD lamp flashes and
the program mode lights
steadily.
The dialed number displays.
