Problem
With the exception
of the menu, access
to the set-top box is
blocked.
The transmission
times shown in the
EPG are not correct.
Only some data is
available or dis-
played after a delay
in EPG mode.

different operating
situations.

is no longer work-
ing as usual.

Possible cause
The parental lock is
activated.
The time is set incorrectly
on your set-top box.
The EPG data has not been
updated for some time or
has not yet been supplied
by the provider.
Some channels do not
transmit EPG data or only
for a few days in advance.
The set-top box was dis-
connected from the mains.
You suspect your set-top
box is malfunctioning.
Individual settings were
changed by the update.
Errors occurred during the
update (power failure,
faulty data transmission).
Remedy
Enter your PIN; the PIN 0000
(4 x zero) is set by default.
If you lose your changed PIN you
can only deactivate the parental
lock by resetting the set-top box to
the factory default settings.
Check the time displayed (to the
right in the info bar) and amend
this as appropriate in the Time
Correction menu.
As long as you do not disconnect
your set-top box from the mains,
the EPG will update automatically
at regular intervals. The scope and
topicality of the data are depend-
ent however on the respective
provider.
The transmission of DVB-SI data is
a channel-dependent service that
is not provided by every channel.
Switch on your set-top box and
open the EPG. The available data is
updated and is available again as
usual after a few minutes.
Update the device software if an
update is available. In the event of
serious problems, contact cus-
tomer care.
Reconfigure the set-top box.
Check the configuration of the
set-top box and re-install the
device software if necessary. In
the event of serious problems,
contact customer care.
