FRONT BRAKE
2. Dismantle:
• The screws (brake caliper)
• The brake pads
See the section on "CHANGING THE
BRAKE PADS"
3. Dismantle:
• Pistons
Dismantling steps:
• Use a cloth to block the piston on the
right-hand side.
• Blow compressed air in through the cou-
pling hole of the line to force the piston on
the left-hand side out of the caliper.
• Insert the piston a few mm and lock it with
a cloth to prevent it from getting out.
• Repeat the previous steps with the piston
for the right-hand side, to force it out of
the caliper.
s WARNING
s
• Never attempt to take the piston out of
the caliper by levering this with a tool.
• Cover the piston with a cloth
• Take care to avoid injuries by the piston
being ejected out of the cylinder.
4. Remove:
• The screws
• The pistons
• The seals

DISMANTLING THE BRAKE PUMP

NOTE:
Remove the brake liquid before dismantling
the brake pump.
