5.8 Indoor communication abnormal

In the following cases, indoor unit will alarm:
1) indoor unit can not communicate with the exterior in 3 minutes
2) If indoor unit can not communicate with EEV in 30 seconds
3) If two indoor units have the same unit numbers, both of them will alarm

5.9 Time-shorting function

After being powered on, make a jumper for the port "TEST PROGRAM" on PCB, in this case, you will
hear "di di di" sound three times from the buzzer. And then the control board CPU will operate at the
speed of faster 60 times than before. Take down the jumper, time-shorting function is cancelled.

5.10 Auto restart function

In 5 seconds, press SLEEP (SWING) button 10 times contineously, the buzzer sounds 4 times to enter
auto-restart state. In 5 seconds, press SLEEP (SWING) button 10 times contineously, the buzzer will
sound 2 times to quit the auto restart function. The function will memorize the following states: ON/OFF,
MODE, FAN, TEMP., HEALTH, SWING; If there are TIMER or SLEEP functions, when being powered on,
TIMER and SLEEP will be cancelled.

5.11 Abnormal mode

There is no display on wired controller and remote controller ( buzzer sounds two times). COOL/HEAT,
DRY/HEAT, AUTO(COOL)/HEAT, AUTO(HEAT)/COOL, AUTO(HEAT)/DRY---entering earlier is in prior,
when the earlier entering mode changes, the other modes can be set, or the unit can not start up or be
standby. In abnormal mode, fan motor stops (this malfunction can be resumed automatically).
5.12 Manual defrost (for some outdoor, not available)
Press SWING button 8 times, the buzzer will sound 3 times, and then sends defrost signal to outdoor.
The outdoor will stop the present operation and begin defrost.
5.13 Water pump and float switch
Water pump control:
When indoor unit is not in heating mode, the water pump will be powered on to run until indoor unit stop;
after indoor unit stops, the water pump will continue running for 5 minutes and then stop.
When in heating mode, water pump will not work.
If the system checks there is overflow, the below measures will be taken:
1) In cooling, sending stop signal to outdoor
2) In heating, sending stop signal to outdoor
3) In stop mode or Fan mode, not sending any signal
4) If the drainage relay is on, when the pump checks the overflow for contineous 2 minutes, it will send
failure signal.
Note: In order to prevent the wrong action resulted from un-steady water level, if the float switch action
time is over 1 second, it will adjust the water level is high.
5.14 Sleep operation
In sleep mode, indoor motor can run at the set speed, but the set temperature can be changed to keep
comfortable.
5.15 Auto mode
When entering auto mode for the first time, the actual mode depends on the room temperature (Tr) and
the set temperature (Ts).
