ECTION NTRODUCTION
The IAD(8)-U( ) ETU (Megaco station) reacts to the other parts of the Electra Elite
IPK system exactly like an ESI(8)-U( ) ETU. Troubleshooting the features relating to
the mode of the ETU would follow the same methods used to troubleshoot the mode.

This section answers some of the common questions encountered when using the
IAD(8)-U( ) ETU.
Q u e s t i o n :
The Electra Elite IPK System cannot connect to the Megaco Station ETU at initial start
up.
A n s w e r :
Ping 192.168.1.100
If you get a reply, verify that the IP address provided in the Connect screen of the
Configuration Utility exactly matches the IP address of the Megaco Station ETU. In
this case, it is 192.168.1.100.
If you do not get a reply to the ping, check your computer IP configuration by entering
winipcfg or ipconfig in the Start - Run menu. Make sure that your PC and the
IAD(8)-U( ) ETU are in the same subnet (the IP address of the PC should be
192.168.1.yyy).
