Intrinsic Safety

The handset version with type number 9600 014 58000/LBB 670x/50 is suitable for
use in potential explosive atmospheres. If you have another type of handset, you can
skip this section.
The intrinsic safe version of the D500 handset is designed, approved and produced in
conformance with the rules laid down in ATEX directive 94/9/EC. It can be used in
areas with potential explosive atmospheres marked with the logo as described in the
directive.
Warning: Do not charge the handset in potential explosive areas.
Warning: Do not open handsets in potential explosive areas.
Warning: When the handset is used in a dry area with a humidity less than
60%, or when the user wears clothes which could cause dangerous
electrostatic discharges, the handset must be used in combination with
pouch Bosch LBB6711/00.
Pay attention to the fact that the handset must be charged outside the hazardous
area.
