To set the start volume:

increase or decrease the volume. The handset will produce the ringer sound in the
increased or decreased loudness setting. It is also possible to switch the ringer
volume OFF in this setting.

9.1.7. Out of range

Each handset is equipped with an out of range detection option The out of range
option alerts the user when the connection between the handset and the iS3000
system is lost. When a user walks out of the coverage area of the iS3000 system the
handset will give 3 indications:
1. An indication OUT OF RANGE and the disappearance of the
display as long as the handset is out of range.
2. A handset will give 3 short bleeps when it gets out of range.
3. The LED on top of the handset will flash for 4 seconds when it gets out of range.
When the user re-enters the coverage area the handset will give one short bleep and
all out of range indications stop.
