Troubleshooting
Place the TVR 20 in well-ventilated space so that it operates within the allowed
range of temperature and humidity as in specification.
If the circuit board is wet, dust on circuit board can cause a short circuit. The
circuit board, plug and socket, housing fan and housing should be cleaned by
brushing regularly.
Failure
After plugging in -the unit, the
POWER LED on the front panel does
not turn on.
There are no images in the monitor
connected to Mon A after TVR 20 is
started.
Cannot find the hard drive during the
reboot process.
Cannot retrieve data on playback.
TVR 20 cannot control PTZ cameras
through the PTZ port.
Cannot control the TVR 20 with a
keypad.

Possible reasons and actions to take
Unit is not connected to the power supply unit. (PSU).
Check the connections.
Power supply is not functioning. Check whether the LED
on the PSU is lit. If not, please contact your local supplier.
Mon A (BNC) monitor has been connected but VGA
monitor connection is default. Activate the Mon A (BCN)
connection by pressing the EXPORT button on the front
panel for several seconds.
The cable connected with the monitor has failed. Check
the cables.
Hard drive failure. Please contact your local supplier.
Hard drive failure. Please contact your local supplier.
Connection cable is not connected properly or not
functioning. Check the cables.
PTZ parameters error. Check the settings.
PTZ port failure. Please contact your local supplier.
