Headlight / Tail Light / Brake Light Lamp Replacement
WARNING
Keep your headlights and taillights clean. Poor light while riding can result in an
accident causing severe injury or death.
CAUTION
Do not service while headlight is hot. Serious burns may result. Do not touch a
halogen lamp with bare fingers. Oil from your skin leaves a residue, causing a hot
spot, which will shorten the life of the lamp.
If the light does not work the lamp may need to be replaced.
1. Remove the lens.
2. Remove lamp and replace it with recommended bulb. See illustrated parts list.
3. Test light to see that it is working.
4. Reinstall the lens.

Indicator Lamp Replacement

1. Remove mounting panel.
2. Unplug light from harness, depress
locking tabs (A) and remove.

Headlight Beam Adjustment

The headlight beam can be adjusted up and down.
1.
Place the vehicle on a level surface with the headlight approximately 25 ft.
(7.6m) from a wall.
2.
Measure the distance from the floor to the center of the headlight and make a
mark on the wall at the same height.
3.
Sit in the seat. Start engine and turn headlight switch to high beam.
4.
Observe headlight aim. The most intense part of the headlight beam should
be aimed 2 ft. (51mm) below the mark placed on the wall in step 2. Note:
Rider weight must be included on the seat.
5.
Loosen headlight pivot bolt (see illustrated parts list) and adjust the beam to
desired position.
6.
