SETTING THE BUZZER

The system controller's internal buzzer can be set to sound at times such as when an alarm is received or the operating status
changes in any of the connected devices.

Press the MENU button.
Then press the + (or – ) button until " BUZZER SET" is displayed and
press the ENTER button.
The buzzer setting screen appears.
The initial settings are as follows:
KEY IN: OFF
CAUTION: ON
STATUS IN: OFF
ALARM IN: ON

Press the ENTER button.
The "KEY IN" and "CAUTION" buzzer setting screen appears.

KEY IN
The buzzer sounds when a button is pressed on the
operation panel.
CAUTION
If any connection is invalid at the time the system is activated,
for reasons such as an address set above 128 for a
connected device, or if communications are not established
with a connected device having no registered address, the
buzzer will sound until any key on the controller is pressed.
The buzzer will not sound for problems such as missing
responses from the connected device; in such cases, only an
"No OPE." message will appear.

To make the buzzer sound, press the + (or – ) button to change the
" KEY IN" setting to " ON" , and then press the ENTER button.
The setting changes in the order OFF → ON → OFF each time a button is
pressed.
To leave the buzzer setting unchanged, simply press the ENTER button.
The "CAUTION" setting will then flash.
For mistakes: Press the CLEAR button to return to the previous setting item.

To make the buzzer sound, press the + (or – ) button to change the
" CAUTION" setting to " OFF" , and then press the ENTER button.
The "STATUS IN" and "ALARM IN" buzzer setting screen appears.

Follow the same procedure in steps 3 and 4 to make the buzzer
settings for " STATUS IN" and " ALARM IN" .
When you press the ENTER button at the "ALARM IN" setting, the display
returns to the buzzer setting screen.

STATUS IN
When an operation error occurs in a connected device, the
buzzer sounds for 5 seconds.
ALARM IN
When an alarm is received from a connected device, the
buzzer sounds continuously until a button is pressed on the
system controller.
Press the MENU button to return to the initial screen.
