CHAPTER 3 MAIN CONTROLLER

1.3 Start-Up Sequence

The system software used to control the machine is stored on the HDD. The CPU on the

main controller PCB reads the system software from the HDD to write to the SDRAM

mounted on the DIMM socket of the main controller PCB, requiring time before the control

panel becomes ready for operation after the main power switch is turned on.

While the CPU reads the system software from the HDD to the SDRAM, the following

screen remains in the control panel, with the progress bar on the screen indicating the

changing stages of the start-up sequence:
