CHAPTER 6 TROUBLESHOOTING

3.3.10 The output has white spots (vertical)

1) Try paper fresh out of package. Is the problem corrected?

YES: The copy paper is most. Advise the user on the place and method

2) Clean the dust-proofing glass. Is the problem corrected?

3) Does the problem occur only in copy images?

YES: The cause is between scanner and CCD. Perform the following:

6) Using the door switch actuator, generate a test print (PG-TYPE6,

[1] Check the standard white plate for dirt.

[2] Execute the following in service mode:

COPIER>FUNCTION>CCD>CCD-ADJ.
