Managing power (Light & Power)
Light & Power setting allows you to control the brightness of the frontlight and auto
power-off time for the following cases to save the battery power.
• when the SL-5600 is not connected with the AC adapter
(driven with the rechargeable battery)
• when the SL-5600 is connected with the AC adapter

On the Settings Home screen, tap the "Light & Power" application icon.

Make the necessary settings.
For Battery power (upper section)
Tap the desired checkbox and then tap the "+" or "−" button of the spinbox to set the
desired time.
On Battery Power
Dim light after When checked, the frontlight will be dimmed if no operation is
performed in the specified time. The frontlight will turn on again
if you resume operation.
Light off after When checked, the frontlight will turn off if no operation is
performed in the specified time.
The frontlight will turn on again if you resume operation.
Suspend after The power will turn off if no operation is performed in the
specified time.
Brightness Turn the frontlight on by pressing the Front light key and move
control slider the slider to change the brightness of the frontlight for the
operation by the battery power. The actual brightness can be
confirmed on the display as you adjust the slider.
