4. To lock the brakes, close
latch, press the brake
pedal and pull up on the
parking brake knob.
5. To unlock the parking
brake, press the brake.

1. Electric shock hazard—do not remove cover; keep cover in
place.
1. Warning—do not touch the hot surface.
2. Cutting/dismemberment hazard, fan and entanglement
hazard, belt—stay away from moving parts.
1. Warning—read the Operator's Manual for instructions on
torquing the blade bolt/nut to 115-149 N-m (85-110 ft-lb).
1. Read the Operator's Manual—do not use starting fluid to
start the engine.
