Section 7 - VPN
To configure the controller as an OpenVPN client:
1. Click VPN > OpenVPN > OpenVPN Settings.
2. Toggle OpenVPN to ON and complete the fields in the table below.

Select Client.
Enter the IP address of the OpenVPN server.
Select the type of identifier that you want to provide for Failover mechanism at the Failover
Server IP: IP Address or FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name). This feature allows to configure
an additional OmniSSL server for client, which will be used when primary server is down. This is
optional and applicable only in client mode.
Enter what port to use. The default port is 1194.
Select either TCP or UDP.
Select the encryption algorithm from the drop-down menu.
Select the hash algorithm from the drop-down menu.
Select the set of certificates OpenVPN server uses. First row indicates the set of certificates and
keys that the server uses. Second row indicates the set of certificates and keys newly uploaded.
