５ Specifications

5.1 OCR Scanner Specifications

The chapter describes about device specifications.
The device may not always be able to satisfy the specifications depend on data entry
conditions (condition of papers, paper set condition, print condition, etc.) or the device
operation environment.
・Performance of OCR varies within a specifications.
・Depend on sheet quality; specifications described in this document may not be
satisfied. Investigation of sheets shall be conducted prior to actual operation.
Items to be investigated before operation.
・Paper condition（co efficiency of friction, size, thickness, paper with fold、tear, etc.）
・Scan condition（paper skew, paper separation, dual feed, scanning speed, etc.）
・Print color（status of color drop out, scanning speed, etc.）
・Information onscanned data (Condition of characters, marks, images, and so on.)
