Safety Precautions (Continued)
Power plug
Warning
Be sure to plug and unplug the power cable by holding the plug. Pulling
the power cable may break the line inside the cable. Be sure to plug and
unplug the power cable with dry hands. If your hand is wet, you may get
an electric shock. Be sure that the plug is not dusty and insert the plug
into the outlet. Do not use a loose plug, which may cause a fire. If you are
not using the device for a long time (e.g., during a vacation), be sure to
unplug the power cable.
Power supply
Warning
Do not use the device with a power supply voltage other than the one
specified. It may cause electric shock or a fire may occur.
Too many leads
Warning
Do not plug too many leads into a single outlet. If you do so, a fire may
occur. Also, too many leads may activate the circuit breaker and affect
other devices and operations.
Moist and dusty place
Warning
Do not use the device in a moist or dusty environment, or a place where
the room temperature changes 10
inside the device. If dewing occurs, leave the device for several hours in
the operation environment before use. If you use the device with dew
inside, it may cause electric shock or a fire may occur
Air Vent
Warning
The air vent is provided to prevent the internal temperature from rising too
high. Do not block the air vent with an obstacle over or in front of it. If you
do so, the internal temperature rises too high and the device failure or fire
may occur.
Placement
Warning
Do not bring a flammable solvent (e.g., alcohol or thinner) close to the
device.
