Setting the Symbolics Options
To convert module names to upper case
• In the Debugger Options dialog box, click on Uppercase Module Names.
To control case sensitivity of symbol lookups
• In the Debugger Options dialog box, select one of the following values for
Symbol Lookup:
As Entered Only
As Entered & Upper The debugger will look up the symbol as entered. If this
As Entered & Lower The debugger will look up the symbol as entered. If this
As Entered, Upper
& Lower

The debugger will always look up the symbol as
entered, case sensitive.
fails, the debugger will convert the symbol to upper case
and try again.

this fails, the debugger will convert the symbol to lower
case and try again. If this fails, the debugger will convert
the symbol to upper case and try again.
