17.4 Synchronise content
Press m > Settings > Connectivity > Data transfer > Sync.
With the Sync application, you can synchronise your contacts,
notes, and bookmarks between your mobile terminal and a remote
server. After the synchronisation, you have a backup of your
important data on the server.
◆ Synchronise content between your mobile
terminal and a remote server
Would you like to have your calendar, notes, and bookmarks
backed up and at hand, whether you are sitting by your computer
or on the go with your mobile terminal? With the Sync application,
you can synchronise the important content between your mobile
terminal and a remote server.
Press m > Settings > Connectivity > Data transfer > Sync.
The synchronisation settings are saved as a synchronisation
profile. When you open the application, the default or previously
used synchronisation profile is displayed.
Include or exclude content types
Select a content type.
Synchronise data
Select Options > Synchronise.
17.5 Protect your mobile terminal
◆ Set your mobile terminal to lock automatically
Want to protect your mobile terminal against unauthorised use?
Define a lock code, and set your mobile terminal to lock itself
automatically when you're not using it.
Press m > Settings > Phone > Phone management > Security

settings > Phone and SIM card.

Select Lock code, and enter a lock code. A minimum of 4
characters is required, and numbers, symbols, and upper and
lower case letters can be used.
Keep the lock code secret and in a safe place separate from your
mobile terminal. If you forget the lock code and your mobile
terminal is locked, your mobile terminal will require service.
Additional charges may apply, and all the personal data in your
mobile terminal may be deleted. For more information, please
contact D-PHONE Customer Service.

Select Phone autolock period, and define the length of time
after which the mobile terminal is locked automatically. If you
want to lock your phone on closing, set Lock on close to On.
Lock your mobile terminal manually
Press s > Lock phone, and enter the lock code.
Unlock your mobile terminal
Press Unlock. Enter the lock code and select OK.
