The "Firmware-Update" tab

With the "Firmware-Update" tab, you can update the firmware of the serial RF600 readers
(RF620R/RF630R). You will find more detailed information on the firmware in the section
"Service & Support (Page 79)" and on the Internet on the "Support homepage
(http://www.siemens.com/automation/service&support)".

To update the firmware, proceed as follows:
1. Copy the update file to your PC or programming device.
2. Select the update file.
3. Click the "Update" button to start the update.
Reaction: Following a successful update, the "Info" tab is opened automatically.

You can enter the path of the update five in the input box or select the update file using
the "Browse..." button.
Reaction: The update is started and the update progress is shown.
