Shaving using the
power adapter
Warning
When it is connected to the mains power adapter 9,
NEVER use the appliance in the bath, under the sho-
wer or close to a washbasin! Risk of electric shock!
Note:
On the first usage, there could be production-related
oil residues on the cutter foil. Wipe them off with an
absorbant and lint-free cloth.
Should you wish to use the razor without first charging
the battery, you can do so by using energy directly
from the mains power adapter 9:
1. Insert the connector plug 0 into the socket 6 on
the razor. Pay heed to the correct polarity:
The guide pillar in the socket 6 must grip the
guide rail on the connector plug 0. If it does not,
the connector plug 0 cannot be inserted.
2. Connect the plug with a mains power socket.
The razor can then be used.

Intended purpose

Shaving

This razor is suitable for both wet and dry shaving.
However, the best results are obtained with a dry
skin.
Warning regarding appliance
damage!
Do not use a shaving gel, as this can clog the cutter
foil and the cutter heads.
Note:
The appliance may not be used if you have skin
wounds, sunburn, pimples or blisters.
Note:
In the first 2 to 3 weeks you could suffer some light
skin irritation, until your skin has got used to the cutter
heads. Should the skin irritation continue beyond
this time, consult your doctor.
1. Remove the protective cap w.
2. Press the locking button 3 and, at the same
time, slide the On/Off switch 4 upwards. The
cutter heads rotate.
Warning regarding appliance
damage!
Avoid using too high pressure on the cutting foil, so
as to avoid breaking the foil. Further, too much pres-
sure on the skin can reduce the effectiveness of the
cutters and also lead to skin irritation.
3. Guide the razor upright and with light pressure
over the skin surface and against the direction of
hair growth. At the same time tense your facial
skin with your free hand, so that the whiskers stick
out. The razor should always be at a right angle
to the skin. A light circular motion of the cutter he-
ads helps ensure the capture of individual whiskers.
