On/Off switch 4 downwards.

Trimming

The long-hair trimmer q integrated onto the razor is
suitable for trimming sideboards and moustaches.
1. Always use the long-hair trimmer q in the top
rest position. Slide it over the first rest position
out to the top.
2. Press the locking button 3 and, at the same time,
slide the On/Off switch 4 upwards. The long-hair
trimmer q is running.
You can now trim the hairs as required.
3. When you have finished trimming, slide the
On/Off switch 4 downwards.
4. Remove any loose hairs on the long-hair trimmer q
with the brush 8.
5. Slide the long-hair trimmer q downwards.
Cleaning and care
Risk of electric shock!
Always withdraw the plug from the mains power
socket before cleaning! Otherwise, there is the great
risk of receiving an electric shock!
Clean the razor after every use.

Dry cleaning

• Press the lateral release tabs 2 and pull the cut-
ter foil retainer 1 upwards.
• Carefully tap the cutter foil retainer 1 on a flat
surface.
• Clean the cutter heads with the brush 8.

Wet cleaning

The cutter heads under the cutter foil retainer
1 are suitable for cleaning under running
water.
Attention!
Ensure that you hold ONLY the cutter heads under
the flow of water! The hand element of this razor is
protected only against spray water, it could be irre-
parably damaged if it is held under running water.
• Press the lateral release tabls 2 and pull the cut-
ter foil retainer 1 upwards.
• Hold the cutter heads under warm flowing water.
If necessary, add some liquid soap.
• To achieve a more intense cleaning, switch the
razor on while it is being rinsed.
• Rinse the cutter foil retainer 1 under warm flowing
water.
• Wipe the housing with a soft, moist and lint-free
cloth.
• Allow the appliance and all parts to dry well be-
fore reassembling it.
